Apprenticeships

Becoming an Apprentice

For those who have an idea of the type of career they want and would like to continue their education whilst working.

Becoming an apprentice means that you will be employed in the occupational area that you are interested in, whilst continuing your education at college.

An apprenticeship normally takes between one and two years to complete. On successful completion you will obtain a NVQ Level 2 qualification and a technical certificate. From a Level 2, you can progress onto an Advanced Apprenticeship, which takes an additional two years to complete. You will obtain a NVQ Level 3 qualification and a technical certificate.
