Stratford Business Services was once again host to the National Dementia Conference last week organised by Inspirational Events.

Over 60 delegates from all over the country visited Stratford Business Services, for the third National Dementia Conference, organised by Hazel Ratcliffe and Linden Atkins. The conference entitled “Can You Dance?” was a thrilling day, focusing on the holistic approach to supporting people living with dementia. It is estimated that there are currently around 700,000 people living with dementia in the UK.

Speakers at the event included people living with dementia, family carers, national and international practitioners working currently in this area, as well as dancers, singers, chefs, poets and holistic therapists.

Mike Atkins, a spokesperson for the conference said, “The day was a huge success with fantastic and positive feedback from those attending. People really felt the event had helped them re-focus on ‘what really matters’. The day was both moving and challenging.”

Stratford Business Services is proud to be hosting this conference for the third time as it provides important advice, information and guidance to the public about dementia.
