Higher Education

What will I pay?

Fees

Eligible students attending an HE course at Stratford-upon-Avon College must apply to their own Local Education Authority (LEA) for help with tuition fees and to access student loan information.

All full-time students from the UK or EU can apply to the Student Loans Company for help with paying their course fees. However, you will be able to apply for a variable fee loan based on the actual fee charged by the institution. This loan is repayable once you have graduated.

Full-time international (non EU) students who wish to study on a higher education programme, will be required to pay the full academic fee. Fees are subject to change so please confirm before you apply.

Please contact the International office on: +44 (0)1789 414036 or email international@stratford.ac.uk|  for more information.

Student Loans

If you are a UK full-time student, you will be able to apply for a student loan. This will have to be repaid after you graduate according to how much you are earning. Repayment will be collected by employers on behalf of the Inland Revenue. The amount you are able to apply for will be dependent on the year of your course, your income, your parents’ or your spouse’s income and where you live.

Full details about the funding available for higher education can be found on the DfES website: www.studentfinance.direct.gov.uk/goodbye|

We suggest you make an application to your LEA as soon as possible to ensure that you will be able to have your student loan cheque at the beginning of term.

If you have any queries about fees, please contact the Admissions team at the college on 01789 266245.
