The conference, which took place on 6th – 8th November, focused on a number of key issues including change management and e-Marketing. Over 800 people attended the conference from the United States, Europe and Australia. The range of top experts and consultants presented included seminar presenters, trainers, authors and best practitioners from the most successful programmes in continuing education and lifelong learning.
Martin, the only representative from the UK, participated in two round the table discussions and led debates on “leading change in staff” and “changing leaders in difficult times.” He commented, “I was able to bring a UK perspective to the issues they were discussing and presented good practice from our recent experiences of change in the College. I will be writing a paper from the conference on the US/UK comparison on HR Management and the E-Marketing of Colleges.”
