How to Apply to the Academy
Steps to Joining:
Step 1:
Find a course you are interested in and check entry requirements.|
Step 2:
Download an International Students’ Application Form|.
Alternatively you can contact the International Office and they will send a form to you:

Step 3:
Submit your application form to the International Office (Admissions) with proof of your qualifications.
Step 4:
Your application form will be given a reference number. Please use this number in all correspondence to the International Academy or Accommodation Office. We will send you an acknowledgement within 48 hours.
Step 5:
On receipt of your application form with proof of your qualifications, if we decide to offer you a place, we will send you a letter giving details of the offer.
Step 6:
The offer letter will include a ‘Confirmation of Acceptance Form’ which you must return to the International Office (Admissions).
Step 7:
Once the International Office has received your ‘Confirmation of Acceptance Form’ we will ask for an academic fee deposit of £1000 which must be paid to reserve your course place. We will notify the Accommodation Office that your deposit has been received.
Step 8:
Once we have received your deposit we will send a confirmation letter to you which you can use to apply for a Visa.
Step 9:
We will then send you the Academy Welcome Pack which includes three more forms – an ‘Airport Transfer Request form’ and two ‘Accommodation Forms’ (one for on campus residential accommodation and one for host family accommodation). These forms should be returned to us as soon as possible so airport collection can be arranged and suitable accommodation can be organised for you.
Visas
In order to obtain entry clearance in to UK, you need to prepare documentation to prove that:

You have been accepted by an UK education institution

You will attend at least 15 hours study per week on a full time course

You have sufficient financial support to sustain your study and stay in UK

You intend to leave the UK when you finish your study
