Throughout the year, the learners have demonstrated a high level of commitment and enthusiasm to participate in learning opportunities. This dedication has resulted in outstanding achievement. The courses not only improve Literacy and Numeracy skills, but also encourage greater confidence and self-esteem through the development and acquisition of these skills.

Moira Brierley, Programme Area Manager for Adult Skills said, “Our students must be congratulated for their determination and hard work to improve their skills and gain new qualifications. Our team of tutors must also be congratulated for their dedication in ensuring that the students achieve their learning goals.”

Adult Literacy and Numeracy courses are free to adults who wish to improve their Maths and English skills, and who are keen to gain national qualifications. For more information about the courses, contact Lynne Gainey on 01789 266245 extension 3182.
