A Level Drama Students Work With George Alagiah For The RSC's AGM

Eight A Level| Drama Students from Stratford-upon-Avon College recently performed on the Swan stage alongside George Alagiah for the RSC’s annual general meeting.

The RSC approached students asking them to create a piece of documentary theatre called ‘A Year in the Life of the RSC’.

Preparing for the event, which took place on the 14 October, students interviewed sponsors and members of the company, before rehearsing the resulting scripts with the well known BBC journalist.

Duncan Fewins, one of the students lecturers, said: “I am very proud of their achievement- performing on the Swan stage in front of the whole senior management team and core members of the company. Their maturity under pleasure was great to witness.”
