After Santa has brought you a DSLR, you need to know how to use it…….

Brand new digital photography course starts in January 2011 at Stratford-upon-Avon College.

Photographer, Lorentz Gullachsen, from Honington, is delivering a digital photography course at the College which starts Monday 10th January 2011.

Lorentz is an award-winning photographer who has worked worldwide with recent commissions taking him to New Zealand and Spain. In March 2010, he won the West Midland OPEN art exhibition with a portrait of a Country and Western enthusiast.

Gullachsen says, “The course is intended to help beginners and more experienced photographers to achieve better results with their DSLR cameras. The results that the new technology can produce are amazing but you still require skills to use the technology to its full potential. To learn how to be a great photographer can take years. However everyone can be a good photographer and can enjoy this wonderful art form that has become so popular. I don’t want to make it technically demanding but knowledge of computers is necessary and having a manually operated DSLR is essential to get the most out of the course.”
