On Friday 25 November Birmingham Hilton Metropole welcomed 55 BA Hospitality Management| students from Stratford upon Avon College for a very interesting talk by Richard Hopton, the Conference and Events Operations Manager. He gave the students lots of detail about the size and scope of the events department which has 33 different function rooms and runs functions for up to 2000 people.

The students were then given a tour of the hotel and event facilities by the Guest Relations Managers, and were able to see 2 functions being built for that evening which they could then follow on Twitter as the evening progressed. 

The visit helped the students with their understanding of strategic event operations which is one of the modules they are currently studying. We are very grateful to Birmingham Hilton Metropole hotel|  for their time, help and continued support of our hospitality programmes|.
