Universities, colleges and organisations from across the country will be exhibiting at Stratford-upon-Avon College next week and providing free advice and information on career and education opportunities.
The college will be hosting its annual careers and higher education event on Tuesday 29th June from 6-8pm and everybody is welcome to attend. Whether you are looking to further your studies and need advice on higher education opportunities, deciding to take a gap year and work for a voluntary organisation, or whether you are looking for a new job, this is the event for you!
Staff representing universities and colleges from across the UK will be available to advise on the higher education courses available to students as well as any bursary opportunities their institutions may offer. In addition, a range of organisations including Birmingham City University, Coventry University, Royal Air Force and Lattitude Global Volunteering will be available to talk about employment opportunities both paid and voluntary.
Andrew Anderson, the college’s Cross College Leader for Tutorial, Enrichment and Progression, comments, “This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the options that are open to everybody in terms of their career and higher education prospects. Learning new skills and having access to free and informed careers advice is particularly important in the current economic climate.”
Everybody is welcome to attend this free event so if you want to improve your job prospects or increase your qualifications, come along to Stratford-upon-Avon College on Tuesday 29th June to see what we can offer you!
