College Becomes Chartered Management Institute Centre

Stratford Business Services has recently become a centre for the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

In May 2011, Stratford Business Services received confirmation that it had achieved Chartered Management Institute status and can now run Leadership and Management courses from Level 2 Team Leading through to Level 6 Leadership and Management.

Julie Weatherhead, Business Development Manager, said “We are delighted to be able to offer a flexible and achievable range of management qualifications for existing and developing managers that lead to professional recognition. Chartered Management status is the highest you can achieve. Courses will be delivered at the College although we can also take the programmes into industry, tailoring the content to specific organisational needs.”

Stratford Business Services, the business and training division of Stratford-upon-Avon College, offers a wide range of opportunities for local, national and international organisations to improve their performance and profitability through professional training, tuition and business support services.

With over 80,000 members, the Chartered Management Institute is the leading organisation representing professional management. CMI qualifications acknowledge excellence in management and range from courses in team leading right up to senior management diplomas and achieving chartered management status. The courses lead to accredited professional qualifications which are nationally-recognised across all sectors.
