Stratford-upon-Avon College supports Stratford on Avon District Council by opening a temporary tourist information centre this weekend.
‘Welcome to Stratford-upon-Avon’ will be opened Saturday 15th May at 62 Henley Street to provide a service to visitors until the tourist information centre at Bridgefoot is re-opened. Visitors to the centre will be able to receive information that they would have normally obtained from the previous tourist information centre. They will also be able to buy tickets to local venues in the very near future.
Martin Penny, principal commented, “I am delighted that we have been able to support the town and local area in this way. Stratford-upon-Avon College was the first college in the country to receive the Training Quality Standard with excellence in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism which highlights our outstanding reputation in this field. We are looking forward to the opening of ‘Welcome to Stratford-upon-Avon’ and working with the district council in the future.”
