David Butterley has become the first person to complete his apprenticeship in Bricklaying at Stratford-upon-Avon College.
David, who lives in Solihull, has completed both the Diploma Level 2 and the NVQ in Trowel Occupations. He currently works for Pickering and Hancox Construction Ltd in Solihull and is now looking to move on to complete a Level 3 qualification.
Jason Andrews, Construction Lecturer at the College, said “I am delighted with David’s success. He is an exceptional student and I know he will build on his experience at college to become a real asset to any employer.”
Apprenticeships are designed for young people aged 16-24 who wish to combine working and earning whilst learning a professional-based skill.
