Stratford-upon-Avon College students are to collaborate with Toni and Guy, Stratford-upon-Avon in an exciting hair show extravaganza, Urban Edge.

Urban Edge is an innovative and exciting show between Toni and Guy in Stratford-upon-Avon and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) students from Stratford-upon- Avon College. The show combines dance, fashion and style and is a choreographed performance based on the concepts of edgy rock and military.

Philip Smith, dance lecturer at the College, commented, “This has been an exciting collaboration for our students. Not only have they had the opportunity to work to a professional commission but they are also gaining experience of what life is like for professional dancers. Our students have been fortunate to work with Toni and Guy, such a well established company, and be able to produce a professional piece of work.”

Molly from Toni and Guy said, “I am very excited to be working with the College to promote Toni and Guy through this hair show. The students have worked well and I am excited to see the outcome.”

Urban Edge will be taking place at Bancroft Gardens on 16th and 17th June at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm each day. Admission is free.
