Summer Open Event at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Come along to Stratford-upon-Avon College’s summer Open Event on Wednesday, 15th June, to see the huge range of study opportunities available to you and a large number of demonstrations and displays.

From 6.30-8.00 pm, the Open Event will be in full swing with a wide selection of demonstrations and displays taking place this year including:

  • Free BBQ (weather permitting)
  • A wide selection of part-time demonstrations including cake decoration, drawing and sketching, jewellery making and paper crafts
  • ‘Have a go” at bricklaying
  • Krypton Factor
  • Rebuild a Motor exercise
  • Spark Plug Challenge
  • Live broadcast from Stratcast, our online television and radio station
  • Live music performances
  • Talks for parents
  • Performing Arts workshops in Dance, Design/Technical Theatre and Musical Theatre

Members of the public can enrol on full or part-time courses or simply find out about the many study options available to them. Tutors and staff will be available to offer advice and guidance on the wide range of courses and study routes available. These range from Progression Pathways, A Levels, BTEC vocational qualifications, Apprenticeships and SWIFT programmes (14-16 year olds) as well as part-time and higher education courses.

Staff and student guides will provide tours of the campus so that visitors can see the superb range of facilities and equipment available.

As with previous Open Events, everybody is welcome! If you want to improve your job prospects, increase your qualifications, learn a new skill or simply meet new people, come along on Wednesday, 15th June, to see what the College can offer you!
