College Podcasts service is now available on the Internet, Students & Staff can upload their work/performances into this podcast website.
New High-Speed Internet link
The new high-speed 100Mbps internet link is now up and running.
File Transfer Application
It is now possible to email larger attachments/ share files ( more than 10MB) with students, staff and external bodies. A new project (File transfer appliance) has been completed which will allow large transfer of files .
Open Wi-Fi Wireless network
Free Internet access across the college is now available. Students/Staff & guests can access Internet using their own personal laptops or mobile phones.
BlackBerry technology.....
College mobile PDA's are currently being replaced with BlackBerry technology to provide real-time, mobile email support.
MS Office 2007 Roll Out....
All the college computers are now upgraded to Office 2007.
Single Domain project......
The Single domain project has now been completed. This will have significant impact on how staff & students login and have access to information...this project will help in creating a clear, manageable information structure capable of significant further development.
Accessing College Emails over the Web........
Staff/ Students can now access the college email system over the Internet. Please point your browser to http://email.stratford.ac.uk| and type in your college username and password to get access to your emails.
DNS Servers are now moved in-house....
Domain Name Service servers for the college have now moved from the University of Warwick to be hosted in-house. This will help us provide hosting web services in house and the College has now FULL control of our various domain names.
Campus wide wireless network......
The whole College campus is now equipped for wireless connectivity. Staff and students can now access the college network through wireless laptops from all areas.
